Ravenhall Masjid and Community Centre Hall Booking Rules

  1. Fill out the booking form and submit it at least two weeks in advance.
  2. Pay the booking fee and security deposit within three days of receiving the confirmation email. Hall Booking fee: $750 | Security deposit: $500 | Total due: $1,250. Payment must be made via online transfer, and the receipt should be sent to email.
  3. Respect the maximum capacity of the hall, which is 200 people including children.
  4. Do not invite more guests than you have registered on the booking form.
  5. Ensure all guests park in the allocated parking areas.
  6. Ensure children do not disturb anyone attending the mosque.
  7. Ensure children do not play in the lifts.
  8. Ensure children do not play in the car park.
  9. The Masjid will not be responsible for any accidents that occur within the compound.
  10. Keep the noise level down and do not disturb the neighbours.
  11. Male and female attendees must be fully segregated.
  12. No decorations are allowed in any part of the building.
  13. No food is allowed to be served in the main Masjid Area (centre of the building) or upstairs in the ladies prayer area.
  14. No cooking is allowed in the kitchen.
  15. The kitchen can only be used to heat up and serve food.
  16. Only Halal food is allowed to be served.
  17. No loud music is allowed.
  18. Tarps must be laid on top of the carpet fully before any food is served.
  19. Do not open the sliding doors at any time.
  20. All food must be brought in from outside.
  21. All access to the side wings must be via the outside and not through the Masjid Area.
  22. Prior permission must be obtained if you require use of the PA system.
  23. If you have a guest speaker, provide all details prior to the event and obtain approval.
  24. Clean up the hall after your event and return it to its original condition. Dispose of garbage, recycle bottles or cans, and wipe down tables and chairs. You will be charged for any damage to the hall or equipment.
  25. To cancel your booking, inform us as soon as possible. Full refund if cancelled 48+ hours before the event. If cancelled within 48 hours, $200 will be deducted from your deposit.
  26. If your event is to raise funds for a cause, you must inform us and obtain prior approval.
  27. Prior approval is required to distribute any religious or business-related leaflets.
