The Forum of the Heads of the Sri Lankan Muslim Community Organisations in Melbourne was held on Sunday, 3 May 2026, soon after Asr prayer, at the Australian Sri Lankan Association (ASLA), 101 Eucumbene Drive, Ravenhall.
The meeting brought together leaders and representatives of Melbourne-based Sri Lankan Muslim community organisations to discuss ways to strengthen collaboration on matters affecting the community.
The forum provided an opportunity for community leaders to exchange ideas, share strategies, and explore how organisations can support one another more effectively and share resources in a timely manner.
The gathering highlighted the importance of unity, cooperation, and collective action in ensuring the continued growth and wellbeing of the Sri Lankan Muslim community in Australia, while preserving its Sri Lankan Muslim identity and Islamic values.
We thank all respected Presidents, Secretaries, and community representatives who attended and contributed their valuable input towards building a stronger and more united community.
